THE PEASANTS NEVER LEARN
The slave class is me, and they want my blood.
The slave class is you, but they keep it a secret.
White collar lies.
Kleptomaniacs run the kleptocracy.
Peasants work hard in fiat mines.
Borrow fake money and pay me all the interest.
Borrow some more because interest rates are low.
Whoops, I made them go up again.
Groceries cost $400.
A house costs…
Never mind, you’ll never be able to afford one.
Private property is sin.
Personal privacy, too, now that I think about it.
Share all your secrets with me.
Surely you have nothing to hide?
Be a good citizen.
Line up for injections, pay tax till you’re broke.
Line up for welfare, have faith in daddy government.
Hand over your freedoms and I’ll provide the bread.
That's a sleight of hand just to take everything from you.
They've used that trick since Rome.
The peasants never learn: memory of a goldfish.
The peasants never learn.
Lies from the senate.
Lies from the State.
Lies from the media that drive you to hate.
There’s eyes on you – look up at that drone.
There’s eyes on you – look down at your phone.
At Woolworths they track you.
And online they track you.
Inch by inch they steal your life away.
Are they trying to end my bloodline?
Anyone who notices is labelled as crazy.
Don't trust your eyes or your brain.
Trust what the TV tells you.
There's a heat wave, but it's been raining for months.
There's a dictator, let's start a war.
A lie told ten times over becomes a truth.
The peasants never learn.
That's the beauty of it all.
The playbook never dates.
And the tricks never fail.
The peasants never learn.
The peasants never learn.
